Sense of direction
Young children think using the right side of the brain. This slowly changes to the logical left-brain during the childhood years. That is why toddlers start on the left page of a book.
Children need to learn the alphabet and the number line from left to right and that all the letters and numbers and fixed to a place in line. A letter is only one letter when upright and seen from the front. Otherwise, it is just a figure.
When subtracting sums, we move from right to left on the number line, while we write the sum from left to right. Here you need awareness. When working with sums over ten the number line begins again anew.
While reading a line, at the end you need to move down and again read from left to right.
Children move from the midline of the body to the side while writing with the right hand. Children who are left-handed move from the outside of the body to the middle. Notice this is a different movement.

Children do playful and fun-oriented movements. Children will learn where to begin with a task and will get an understanding of the number line and the alphabet. They learn the proper order of numbers and letters automatically. Also writing letter the proper way will become natural.
